In this piece, I depicted myself with my eyes closed, seated in the very position I was in while creating the painting. Through love, I bring forth a new work that reveals true form and time. My paintings are like puzzles that assemble a chess-like order from the events I overhear behind the curtain. Everything moves through its cycle of life and returns as answers within the ever-moving mechanism of the past and the future.
Painter: Yurii Bondarenko, born in 1993, Cherkasy (Ukraine)
An artist who has found his own style, akin to surrealism.
Executed in oil using the glazing technique, in a surrealist manner.
Primed canvas, cotton, 40×50 cm.
This painting reveals a deep white glaze and a fusion of the warm tones of both winter and summer.
